Go into the ends of the earth and preach the good news to all creation ( Mk 16 : 15 ) Receiving this command of Jesus Christ , Msgr C.J Varkey in the year 1962 on September 8th founded the Congregation for Women at Kozhikode in Kerala. The Charisam of the MSMI sisters is to give the redemptive love of Jesus to the world through preaching of the word of God and Family Apostalate.
Today these sisters are rendering their services through various Apostalate across various states of India and in other international countries. One of the branches named as MSMI Bandel was started in the year 2004 in may 6th under the Jurisdiction of the Bandel Basilica .The MSMI sisters here in Bandel render their services through spiritual animations like Whole day adoration, Counselling (Spiritual and Psychological ) Retreats for Religious, Seminariens, Formees, School Children, Teachers etc. Also guided retreat for sisters. once ina month conducting retreat for Religious in Bandel Retreat House.
sisters also extend their service at the DonBosco School as Co – Ordinator of Primary Section and as Psychological Counsellor in the High School Section.
